| Personal History | Other family Heather Morak - Auntie Leanne Morak - Grandmother Late 2354 (0) - 2359 (5) Delenna was born on Betazed on the 6th October 2354 to Sekaya Morak, in a deralict building at the back of her grandmother's garden. Delenna Morak is the second child of Sekaya Morak. The circumstances round Delenna's birth were no secret but they were heinous circumstances. It was not spoken about at all. 2362 (7/8) - While her mother had Counselling sessions and worked at Starfleet Medical, Delenna went to elementary school and was in Grade 3. Delenna helped out at Starfleet Headquarters as an Errand Girl. She took PaDDs to the Admirals and relevant people and got PROPER coffee for everyone. She was allowed a coffee with extra milk on fridays. Last thing Sekaya needed was her daughter bouncing off all walls every day of the week, but it also allowed that bouncing before going back to school. She struggled with the social aspects of life, and difficulty learning some subjects, so Sekaya took Delenna to Starfleet Medical and Drs Milanda and Matthius Snr. The team, Dr Matthius Snr gathered, all interacted with her and after a few days of assessment and deliberation, they diagnosed Delenna with Autism. The Admirals gave Delenna a conditional scholarship for all the work she had done for them over the years but Delenna had to get decent grades in middle school as well as elementary. 2365 (10/11) - Delenna started middle school on the USS Constance as Sekaya was ordered to the USS Constance as Chief Medical Officer. While there, Delenna spent most of her time in Engineering and Ens. Shaw, when she wasn't doing her class subjects, but she struggled with her class subjects, just sat down but you put her in a situation where she uses what she has learnt then she excels. Engineering gave her ample opportunities to use her learnt subjects to use and was done under the supervision of Ens. Shaw and the CEO of the USS Constance and she loved it. 2367 (12/13) - Battle of Wolf 359 Delenna ran through the corridors of the USS Constance as it was falling apart. She had been in a Jeffries tube changing over several dilithium packs when she bumped into Ens. Shaw and clung to him because she was scared. You could have easily forgotten that Delenna was only an autistic adolescent but she was exceptionally mature when she was "on duty". Shaw was reminded of this when he saw Delenna and escorted her to the escape pods where they found Sekaya. After Wolf 359, Shaw insisted that Sekaya and Delenna stay with him and his family due to them not actually having anywhere to actually live. Sekaya and Shaw received Meritous Awards for their service during the Battle. Delenna got to skip high school and go straight into Starfleet Academy. However, they also gave all of them a Sabbatical to recover and seek counselling. While doing her studies on the USS Constance, she already had done higher work and earned herself the place at the Academy. 2370 (15/16) - Starfleet academy Medical and counselling Diplomacy Engineering Delenna joined Starfleet Academy in Spring of 2370. She chose Medical and Counselling, Diplomacy and Engineering. She spent 6 years at the Academy doing engineering semi-concurrent with her other studies. She knew most of the engineering stuff anyway. 2374 (19/20) - Delenna spent the last two years of study with mother and Shaw to whatever ship they were assigned to Shaw as Engineer and Sekaya was Medical Officer/Counsellor. Both Lieutenants by this point and working upto command. Starfleet adapted Delenna's studies so they were more practical than sat down learning. All the family had counselling around the trauma of Wolf 359. Delenna did find it difficult to open up to a strange doctor, so Sekaya didn't force it too much as long as Delenna was open with her and Shaw. Delenna spoke to Shaw more about it because he didn't use medical expertise to probe. 2376 (21/22) - 2386 (31/32) First Starbase assignment - Starbase Zetari Delenna passed the exams with flying colours. Delenna graduated the Academy as full Ensign and for someone with autism that was a major achievement. Delenna's first assignment was the Starbase Zetari as Medical Officer and Counsellor. She made her way through the ranks to Lieutenant and a little higher role in Sickbay. The day of the Battle of Wolf 359, still haunted Delenna. She struggled with flashbacks and nightmares. When at home, she would go and snuggle with her family, her new father, and his breathing and heartbeat calmed her and she'd go, right back to sleep. She had counselling with Dr Milandra in 2382 when the nightmares stopped her from sleeping and she became Paranoid and Psychotic. Dr Milandra retired in 2386 and Delenna returned to Earth in the same year. It got too much. 2390 - 2394 2396 (40) - 2401 (44) - Events of Picard.
