Mission:
Outbreak
Location: Hartley Quarters
Kin'Fuji finally got a few minutes to herself. She was still upset that she was given an assignment without her wife and Daughter. She had locked herself in the bathroom as she started to cry as she was still heartbroken over her getting posted without her wife and daughter.
It wasn't long before someone contacted her. =/\=Sickbay to Kin'Fuji, we've got some new crewmembers aboard in family quarters, and I've been asked to assign you to check on them. Don't ask me why, I'm just the messenger=/\= Ensign Lucy Sanderson said over the comm channel.
It took Kin'Fuji a few moments to compose herself. =/\=On my way.=/\= She answered before heading for the family quarters.
The two occupants of the quarters were silently waiting in the bedroom, big grins on their faces. As the door opened to allow Kin'Fuji entrance, the smallest newcomer couldn't hold herself back, and ran out into the main room, launching herself at Kin'Fuji. "MOMMY!" K'tress cried out, as Christina emerged, racing to Kin and hugging her tightly.
"Oh love, I told you I'd get here," Christina said, tears of joy streaming down her face.
Kin'Fuji only broke down crying as she had her family now with her. "How?"
Christina smiled as she wiped away Kin's tears. "Uncle Plase. He called in a few favours and got me assigned here as Chief Engineer," Christina said, her voice shaky as she was close to breaking down as well. "It's okay love, we're here at last." Christina smiled, kissing Kin as K'tress was hugging Kin'Fuji tightly.
"I am so happy now." Kin'Fuji said picking up their daughter. "Momma so missed you, both of you."
Christina smiled; their quarters were full of boxes of clothes and other items that Christina had brought with her and K'tress. "We missed you too love, so much," Christina said, smiling as she kissed Kin. "And I'm never going to let us be parted ever again, no matter what," she promised.
"I guess I should get my stuff from my quarters then?" Kin'Fuji asked. "Because tonight...." She gave Christina that knowing and lustful grin.
Christina smiled. "Oh, yeah, you definitely don't want anything left in those old quarters, because now you're with us," Christina returned the grin, kissing Kin's cheek. "Because tonight, I show you how much I missed you," she whispered, so K'tress couldn't hear.
"Can't wait love." Kin'Fuji said as her grin got bigger. "I can't wait to have dinner with you two." She added.
"Well, we've got dinner sorted," Christina said, as she indicated the dining room table, which had several plates of food ready. "I asked that other officer, Lucy, to cover the rest of your shift after explaining everything, she was happy to do so," she said, as she dished out the food. It was replicated, certainly, but it had been scanned in by both their parents; their favourite home made Chinese food. "Once I've got the kitchen set up, we'll have home cooked food," Christina said, kissing her softly. "Right now, I just don't want to be away from you."
"Oh love." Kin'Fuji said with a smile. "You have been a busy little minx." She said as her tails started to play with Christina's back.
Christina smiled happily, nodding. "Yep, planning this as soon as Uncle Plase told me that I'd been reassigned. I don't think his ears have quite recovered from when K'tress and I screamed for joy when he told me that we were coming to the Cygnus, although we had to pack up quickly. Your mom's watching the house for us on Earth," Christina explained, a tear rolling down her cheek. "I've missed feeling your tails on my back, love. I've missed your smile, your singing, everything. It felt so... empty without you. I think the only reason I got anything done was because K'tress was with me, but I was so worried about you," she admitted, wrapping her arms around her wife.
"Well his ears where still ringing after the witch fest I unleashed on him too." Kin'Fuji admitted.
"It wasn't his fault, love," Christina said, as she helped K'tress get seated and sorted her out some food. "He did everything he could, and finally, he made a case for needing me and called in a lot of favours. My supervisors at Utopia Planetia weren't happy; they even discussed giving me a promotion to stay, but they couldn't give me the one thing I wanted: my wife with me and our daughter," Christina said.
"Still." Kin'Fuji said with a smile. "I wanted you both here with me. I need the both of you here with me." She stated them looked at Christina. "What.... Did you mention you are now the Chief Engineer here?" She asked in a bit of shock.
"I did, and I am. That's what Uncle Plase did, he said that he hadn't been assigned a permanent one yet, and told Starfleet he wanted me. Turns out, because I helped with the refit on this ship, I was crucial to the success of the mission," Christina explained, smiling.
"Then I guess I have to salute you." Kin'Fuji said. "Or should I get you to stand at attention." She grinned.
Christina giggled. "Oh, I think we can be less formal here, love," Christina said, smiling
Kin'Fuji chuckled. "You totally missed what I meant love."
Christina frowned. "I guess I did," she agreed.
"I'll explain it after K'tress gets into bed." Kin'Fuji said.
Christina smiled at Kin, and nodded, loving seeing how K'tress was eating but still staying next to Kin. "She missed you so much love. We both did. Every day, it just... the house felt so empty. Your mom visited, so did your dad, and my parents, but still... I came so close to just leaving Starfleet," she admitted, as she ate some of her food.
"Same here." Kin'Fuji said with a smile as she helped her daughter eat. "I so happy that you are both finally here."
Christina nodded. "So am I. I spent the runabout ride here practically jumping for joy. I... I'm sorry we were parted, love, but I promise no one will keep us apart ever again," Christina said softly.
"I never want to be split from you or our daughter again." Kin'Fuji said. "I was so lonely with out you."
"I know that feeling," Christina said, enjoying the meal, and being back with Kin. "So maybe it's time we think about... well..." Christina started, then lowered her voice. "Giving K'tress a baby brother or sister," she said softly.
"Are you telepathic?" Kin'Fuji asked. "Because I was thinking the same thing."
Christina giggled. "I just know you, and our hearts and minds have always been synchronized, right?" Christina asked, with a smile.
"And it helps that I am Empathic." Kin'Fuji said with a chuckle.
Christina nodded, and looked at Kin, taking hold of her hands. "Every single day we were apart, I never felt happy or complete, not really. Oh, I was thankful I had K'tress, but the thing is, I wasn't worried about myself. I was worried about you. I knew Uncle Plase would look after you, but... without either of us... I was so afraid for you," Christina admitted.
"I felt the same love." Kin'Fuji said. "I was so lonely. I cried myself to sleep every night." She stated. "Now I go to sleep with a whole different kind of cry." She gave Christina a lusty grin.
Christina smirked. "Not in front of K'tress," she whispered softly. "But I am glad we're together again. We should make dinner for Uncle Plase when we've fully unpacked. Oh, and I brought your instruments, you left them behind," Christina said, smiling.
"Well we should invite all of the Senior Staff as you are now a member of the Senior Staff." Kin'Fuji pointed out.
Christina nodded. "I guess so," she agreed, smiling. "They'll love your cooking."
"I know you do." Kin'Fuji said with a smirk. "Also, this will allow you to get to know your co-workers."
"That's true. Maybe you can make your Lasagna, or several dishes so people have options. You are an amazing cook, my love," Christina suggested.
"Thank you love." Kin'Fuji said. "I can do that for sure."
"Then I'll let everyone know once we've gotten our new quarters sorted," Christina said, smiling. "And I already sorted out the toilet, shower, and the bed."
"Oh thank the Goddess." Kin'Fuji said. "I normally had to go clear cross the ship to get to a tail friendly toilet." She stated as her tails danced behind her.
Christina smiled. "We got here a few hours ago. I wanted to make sure everything was sorted before calling you here," she explained.
"I understand." Kin'Fuji said with a smile. "You know I had to leave my instruments, because I had shared quarters."
"I know. Now, we have family quarters, so I brought them all with me," Christina indicated large boxes in a corner. "I've got a couple of days to unpack, and I even brought some real food from Earth in the stasis units," she explained.
"Well I still have to share quarters." Kin'Fuji said. "But with a cute pair such as you two. I can make do." She stated before she tickled K'tress, getting her to laugh.
Christina laughed at the sight, the biggest smile on her face. "Everything I've been through, this moment makes it worth it," she said.
"I know love. Care to help?" Kin'Fuji said.
"Oh, definitely. The tickle monsters have arrived," Christina teased, joining in with tickling their daughter.
K'tress only kept laughing until both of her parents stop so she could breath. "I love you momma's." She said when she could breath again.
"We love you too baby, so much," Christina said, with a smile as she kissed her forehead. "We're all together now, and we always will be."
"Yes, momma is not going any where without you both ever again." Kin'Fuji admitted.
Christina smiled. "Kin, love, let's finish dinner and then we can help K'tress with her bath and bedtime," Christina suggested, smiling, looking forward to having the evening with Kin.

When K'tress was finally settled, Christina had unpacked the television screen they had for old fashioned movies and cartoons, mostly for K'tress, but also for them for dates, as well as some of their pictures, both of them were snuggling on the sofa that Christina had designed and replicated when she had arrived.
"I can't begin to tell you how much I missed this," Christina said softly as she brushed Kin's fur.
Kin'Fuji was purring at getting brushed by her wife. "You? I love how you make me feel when you brush my fur."
Christina giggled. "I know," she said, running the brush gently through Kin's fur. "It's always relaxed me, being able to do this."
Kin'Fuji continued to purr at the feeling, but she started to raise her butt when the brush got near the base of her tails. "It relaxes and excites me."
"Oh, I know," Christina smiled as she kept brushing Kin's fur. "You need to make sure you take care of yourself love, you've clearly been neglecting yourself without me and K'tress around."
"I do take care of myself." Kin'Fuji said with a pouty look on her face. "Just some areas are hard to reach without help. And it is way more exciting when you do it." She purred out.
Christina smiled. "Have you been cooking for yourself, or eating just replicated food?" Christina asked.
"Small shared room, so no kitchen." Kin'Fuji said. "So I was eating replicated food."
"Never again. Yes, we can replicate the ingredients, but tomorrow, I'll set up the proper kitchen for cooking," Christina said, as she gently finished brushing the fur on Kin's head, and moving to her tails.
Once Christina started upon her tails, Kin'Fuji was just a pile vibrating furry flesh. She draped herself in Christina's lap as she really missed the attention from her wife.
Christina smiled, kissing Kin. "I missed you, and I know you missed this," she teased.
Kin'Fuji nodded, because she was purring so hard. She really did miss Christina's expert hands upon her body. If their daughter wasn't awake at the time poor Christina would have been maul, but this was so worth the wait.
Christina smiled. "I spent the journey here thinking of you, about the wedding, about K'tress, and about both of us together, how far we've come," she said softly.
"I was thinking about us also." Kin'Fuji was able to get out around her purring. "I so missed you."
Christina let out a soft giggle. "I know, and I missed you too, so very much," Christina said. "I'm glad the surprise went well."
"If K'tress wasn't there, I would have mauled you." Kin'Fuji said with her deep and constant purring. He tails where still dancing with excitement.
Christina laughed softly. "I'll bet," Christina said. "But I think she's asleep now."
"And I am still waiting for you to do something, because I really really excited." Kin'Fuji said with a purr and a low growl.
"I know, I thought I'd tease you a little first," Christina smirked.
"You have been teasing me since I had left." Kin'Fuji said with a pout on her face.
"Well, now K'tress is asleep," Christina said, standing up and taking Kin by the paw. "Let's make up for the time we've been apart," she told her, leading her to the bedroom.
"Oh goddess, yesssss." Kin'Fuji said following Christina to their new bedroom.
Christina smiled as she looked at Kin, smiling as they began to kiss as they entered the bedroom, thankful to her Uncle, and to every deity that ever existed, that not only was she reunited with her wife, but she had met her to begin with.
Because this is where she always wanted to be.
