Mission: Stranded
Location: Earth - Spacedock
Timeline: 2387

Delenna is on Earth Spacedock doing her final practical exam.

"Grab your Gear and move out," screeched the CSP. Delenna did just that and jumped in her fighter and started the start-up sequence.

The CSP got her helmet on and climbed in before Delenna closed the top on them. Delenna looked up from the buttons and switches, "Ready, Chief?"

"Yes, Lieutenant," said the high pitched voice.

"Good," smiled Delenna, as she hit the thrusters and accelerated to high speeds. She then turned right to head towards some empty space. She took the CSP's breath away doing what she did, but the CSP wished she could mark her down on that but she couldn't as Delenna executed the manoeuvres spectacularly.
The CSP also felt just a little nauseous with the manoeuvres, "Don't do that again, Lieutenant," she scowled. "I'll mark you down next time."

"You ok, Chief?" asked Delenna. The sound that followed after Delenna was not enjoying hearing or smelling. "Sorry. Chief." she said squeamishly.
Delenna carried on flying with a puke filled cockpit, and was about to return to the Spacedock when she saw something in the distance. It seemed to blink. "Chief, did you see that?"

"See what?" queried the CSP.

"A blink. Like a light SOS," replied Delenna. The strange light blinked again. "There it is again!" *Blink* "And again!" The CSP looked up from throwing up, wiped her mouth and looked out the window. She saw what Delenna was seeing.

"Move in closer, but carefully," she croaked.

"Yes, Ma'am," Delenna acknowledging orders. She then called to Spacedock to inform them of what they were doing. "Blackheart to Spacedock, We are going to investigate a light blink up ahead. We'll keep you informed."

"Spacedock to Blackheart, understood. Be careful."

Delenna moved slowly forward to the light blink, it got brighter and bigger. Delenna stopped at about 500 clicks away from the light blink. It seemed to be trying to communicate, "Chief, I am going to use the finder light to communicate with the light blink and hopefully we can get something co-horrent out of it," Delenna said.

"I would object but i have a feeling I'd be ignored...." she trailed off.

"No, I am initiating First Contact Protocol, Chief," replied Delenna. She looked up as the Chief trailed off, and noticed that the light was pulsing, Delenna had a bad feeling about what was happening and started the sequence for reversing thrusters so they reversed slowly away from the light but then it blasted Delenna.

"Morak!" screamed the Chief. "Morak! MORAK!"

Delenna didn't respond. She was unconscious for a good while. There was a fight of wills going on inside her because whatever this being was, didn't know how to communicate.

[In Delenna's Body]
Delenna was trapped in her own mind and body not able to communicate to the outside world, so she took to investigating what had invaded her body. In her mind the light seemed to change into something or try to, "Who or What are you?" muttered Delenna.

The light made a noise. It was trying to say something but it just came out as white noise. It kept trying to speak and in the end it just bounced up and down and lightening shot around it.
"Ok, i get you are now frustrated. You are in my body and mind, use my knowledge of words to communicate," said Delenna as she tried to calm the light down.
It did calm down and Delenna let down her mental walls to let the light in to communicate with her. As she let the mental walls down in her mind, they also went down around her brain so the light could leave and still communicate. Well, that was Delenna's plan.

She communicated with the light telepathically and got it to leave her body and go home.

[Outside of Delenna's Body]
Delenna woke up in the Spacedock Infirmary, the CMO going nuts because there was something they considered hostile in the room. "STOP!" yelled Delenna. "Put your weapons down. Rhinnaya will not hurt anyone. She just wanted to learn."

"We are born as balls of light and when we attempt to speak it is just white noise, no words come out," explained Rhinnaya. Rhinnaya then started to glow brighter.

"She is evolving again. Take cover." said Delenna to everyone in the room. Delenna rolled off the bed and hit the floor with a thud, just as everyone else ducked for cover as lightening bolts shot out from Rhinnaya. It lasted all of ten minutes and when the bolts had cleared, there was a woman in the middle of the infirmary, naked as the day she was born. "Chief, Get her some clothes and stop gawking at her. Not like you haven't seen a woman before."

The CMO did what Delenna told him and got Rhinnaya some clothes. "Here you go, Rhinnaya."

"Thank You," she replied. She put the clothes on and then turned to Delenna. "I wanted to make sure you were alright. I am not leaving with just words but emotions, ettiquettecy and more. I thank you for your knowledge."

"You are welcome. Just let the others know that if they need lessons, come to me first and then I'll see who will be willing to help, although it might just be me," replied Delenna smiling. "It is going to be one hell of a report I write tonight."

"Goodbye, Delenna Morak."

"Goodbye, Rhinnaya," Delenna replied.
