Mission Summary
After enduring the trials of its last mission, the U.S.S. Cygnus has emerged from extensive repairs and system overhauls, restored to full operational status. With hull integrity reestablished and new system integrations in place, the ship is embarking on a critical shakedown cruise. This voyage will test the performance of its upgraded technologies and ensure all bugs are identified and resolved before future deployments.
Fresh crewmembers fill the ranks, replacing those lost or reassigned after the accident that nearly destroyed the Cygnus. This cruise will also serve as a proving ground for their cohesion, adaptability, and readiness under pressure.
Joining the mission is Commander Vareth, assigned as an Advisor for the new systems and technologies.
